Gantry crane operator wanted in Tazewell County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Tazewell County, Virginia. You will work at a precast concrete yard. The role involves: • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift What we are looking for: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
