Lift installation engineer • Scott County, Indiana

Now hiring: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Scott County, Indiana. The job is in a residential tower block. Your main tasks: • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments You should have: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Performance bonus on top of base pay.
