Groundsman — Fune

Now hiring: we are hiring a groundsman in Fune, Yobe State. The role involves dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs. Ideal candidate: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Full-time with occasional weekends.
