Concrete pump mate — Middlesex County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Middlesex County, Massachusetts. On the job you will handle: • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
