Bakery assistant • Bear Lake County, Idaho

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Bear Lake County, Idaho. You will be based in a bread factory. Requirements: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Accurate at weighing and following recipes The role involves: • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
