Immediate opening: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Franklin County, Mississippi. You should have: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Day-to-day duties: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose 3+ years on the tools preferred.
