Vacancy available: sample machinist (England)

Now hiring: we are hiring a sample machinist in City of Leicester, England. The job is on an export house sewing floor. You should have: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Day to day you will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. £2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
