QC technician — Amherst County

Now hiring: we are hiring a QC technician in Amherst County, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • Willing to work rotating and night shifts Day-to-day duties: • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
