Immediate opening: restoration bricklayer (Pennsylvania)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Beaver County, Pennsylvania. Day to day you will building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge. Ideal candidate: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day 3+ years on the tools preferred. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
