Aluminium tig welder — Hyde County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Hyde County, South Dakota. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Own basic hand tools and PPE The role involves: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
