Mechanical press operator — Lackawanna County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. You will fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience.
