Join our team: we are hiring a blocklayer in Andrew County, Missouri. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding On the job you will handle: • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters Full-time with occasional weekends.
