Vacancy available: lifting rigger (Oyo State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Ibadan North, Oyo State. You will work at a power plant. The role involves: • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
