Great opportunity: offshore rigger (Anambra State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Awka South, Anambra State. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. You will coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position. Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
