Captain waiter wanted in York County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a captain waiter in York County, Maine. You will be based in a five-star hotel. The role involves upsell starters, desserts and beverages; take food and drink orders on the POS terminal or order pad; lay table covers with cutlery, napkins, glassware and crockery; pour water, wine and soft drinks and serve from the guest's left; greet guests, seat them and present the menu; explain the day's specials and recommend dishes. Ideal candidate: • Familiarity with POS billing and order-taking systems • Ability to work fast under pressure during peak service • Ability to carry loaded trays and stay on your feet for long shifts 6+ years on the tools preferred.
