Immediate opening: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Mountrail County, North Dakota. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. Requirements: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Your main tasks: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols Six days a week, one day off.
