TIG welder — Dass

Immediate opening: we are hiring a TIG welder in Dass, Bauchi State. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding The role involves select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut.
