Injection moulding machine operator — Leelanau County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an injection moulding machine operator in Leelanau County, Michigan. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage Day-to-day duties: • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet Six days a week, one day off.
