Foundry labourer — McLennan County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry labourer in McLennan County, Texas. You will be based on the moulding line. Day to day you will shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
