Power press operator — Murray County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a power press operator in Murray County, Minnesota. What we are looking for: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Day-to-day duties: • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $26 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
