Now hiring: we are hiring a beldar in Northwest Arctic Borough, Alaska. Ideal candidate: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day On the job you will handle: • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site Performance bonus on top of base pay.
