Mobile crane operator • Oron, Akwa Ibom State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Oron, Akwa Ibom State. You will work in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Day-to-day duties: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground You should have: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Understanding of hand and radio signals At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
