Core maker wanted in Conway County

Now hiring: we are hiring a core maker in Conway County, Arkansas. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. Your main tasks: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
