Gas meter installer — Wayne County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Wayne County, North Carolina. You will lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate. What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion Part-time with flexible hours.
