Trowel-trade bricklayer wanted in Montcalm County

Join our team: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Montcalm County, Michigan. You will spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
