Powder coating technician — Henderson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Henderson County, Kentucky. The job is in a busy paint shop. The role involves: • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper You should have: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting 6+ years on the tools preferred.
