Bricklayer — Allegan County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bricklayer in Allegan County, Michigan. You will be based on a busy housing site. You should have: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets On the job you will handle: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses We offer $3,100 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
