Now hiring: we are hiring a power float operator in Shelby County, Missouri. The job is in a residential housing project. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage Day-to-day duties: • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
