Offshore rigger — Itas/Gadau

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Itas/Gadau, Bauchi State. The role involves: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Six days a week, one day off.
