Immediate opening: roofer (Alaska)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a roofer in Denali Borough, Alaska. You will work at a roofing and cladding contractor. Your main tasks: • Hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Bed and point ridge tiles with mortar • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses Requirements: • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day Full-time, day shift.
