Your main tasks: • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars Requirements: • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements 4+ years on the tools preferred.
