Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites On the job you will handle: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing Part-time with flexible hours.
