Great opportunity: we are hiring an escalator technician in McPherson County, Kansas. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Ideal candidate: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota The role involves service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
