Auto painter — Surrey

Immediate opening: we are hiring an auto painter in Surrey, England. You will be based in a car refinishing workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale The role involves wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint. 2+ years on the tools preferred. £3,150 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
