Great opportunity: we are hiring a moulder in Weston County, Wyoming. The role involves tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Basic grinding and fettling skills Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience.
