Now hiring: we are hiring a sample machinist in Audrain County, Missouri. The job is on an export house sewing floor. On a typical shift you will operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. What we are looking for: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
