Short order cook — Bath County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a short order cook in Bath County, Virginia. You will follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift. Requirements: • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen Meals and transport allowance provided.
