Argon welding operator wanted in Brown County

Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Brown County, Wisconsin. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. Day to day you will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
