Building site helper — Refugio County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a building site helper in Refugio County, Texas. The job is on a metro and infrastructure project. Your main tasks: • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors Ideal candidate: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker 1+ years on the tools preferred.
