Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Deuel County, Nebraska. The job is at a busy lift company. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance On the job you will handle: • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
