HSE officer — Wilson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a HSE officer in Wilson County, North Carolina. You will be based on a road and infrastructure project. Day-to-day duties: • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry Ideal candidate: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
