TIG welder — Wayne County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a TIG welder in Wayne County, Georgia. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. The role involves sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
