Great opportunity: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Sheffield, England. You will be based at a banquet hall. You should have: • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates The role involves keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service; mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks; load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles; clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift; help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room.
