Urgent requirement: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Edgefield County, South Carolina. The role involves: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
