Tig welder — Nodaway County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tig welder in Nodaway County, Missouri. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Own basic hand tools and PPE On a typical shift you will select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion.
