Core maker wanted in Mitchell County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a core maker in Mitchell County, Georgia. You will work on the moulding line. Day to day you will operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together. Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Full-time with occasional weekends.
