Immediate opening: we are hiring a general labourer in Jackson County, Ohio. You will be based on a residential housing site. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio Day to day you will dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
