Urgent requirement: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Grant County, Nebraska. Your main tasks: • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line What we are looking for: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing 2+ years on the tools preferred.
