Sample machinist — Genesee County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sample machinist in Genesee County, Michigan. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. On a typical shift you will change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet. You should have: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
