Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety officer in Upton County, Texas. You will work on a road and infrastructure project. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot On a typical shift you will record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment. Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
